My fiancée really likes Rush for IM and I'm interviewing at UIC. Was hoping someone could provide input on the program and quality of teaching.

PDs are nice but the program is pretty much all IMGs, is low volume, and has old facilities. One of the IMG residents even told me she showed up to her interview there a year or two earlier hungover and kind of out of form. Another one of the IMG residents there told me he only got interviews at 2-3 places after applying to about 40 programs nationwide. The city has better programs: Rush, Christ, Lutheran, Northwestern, U of C.
