Just wanted to know, when it comes to obtaining residency in the US, does it matter if you come from an Undergraduate medical program in AUS vs. a graduate program?
Are the Undergrad programs regarded the same as the graduate programs?

Hey anomorato,

As far as obtaining a residency in the US, nope, it doesn't matter at all whether you went to an Oz grad program or an Oz undergrad program. What matters primarily for obtaining a residency is your board scores (USMLE), as I understand it.

Not sure if you've decided yet, but just in case you havent... In the past I've heard you ask, and others here respond, about whether you should go to the 6 yr undergrad program at the UNSW for med or not. If I were you, I'd definitely go for it, for the reasons in the past others have mentioned. Seriously, UNSW is a terrific school that'll train you to be a competent doctor. :)

By the way did you get my follow-up PMs I sent you about UNSW? It's been a couple of weeks, just wondering.
