Army UNC Dental School Veteran Friendly?

Hey I was looking at UNC veteran recruitment page and it looks like they have some unique programs for military/veterans that other schools do not have. I was wondering as an OOS with middle of the road stats if it is worth my time to apply there since I'm stationed at Fort Hood versus Bragg.

If there is anyone that is a current Army dentist that has met or worked with alumni from there I am interested in their program and wondering if I will be competitive despite being OOS in NC.
