I applied to but decided not to interview at Yale. It has a long history of being a strong program, but I had heard the quality has gone down recently. I'm not
sure what the reason for this is, but it may be due to the financial problems that have hit everything at Yale. Also, New Haven, while not being the warzone that it is often portrayed as, is not a great town.
I have heard good things about UConn. If you haven't already, I'd advise checking out scutwork.com and the AMSA residency review page: http://www.amsa.org/resource/cardev/residencyresultslist.cfm?class=allopathic
Hope this helps. Others should feel free to correct me about Yale if I'm wrong.
