Here's the deal:
I go to school in New York but I permanently live in California. I understand that since I'm only here in NY for school purposes, I'm still considered a Cali resident since I permanently stay there. The only thing that bothers me is that my parents are moving out of Cali and I'm wondering if that will affect the status of my residency.
Will I assume the new residency of my parents? Of course, I'm not a minor anymore I'm just really worried that if I lose my CA residency, I'll have close to zero chances of getting into a UC.
Thanks!
