Highlights of the 2022 medical school rankings
Harvard University maintained its number one spot this year in the research medical schools. There was a lot of shuffling in the remainder of the top ten. New York University jumped two spots from number four to number two, while Johns Hopkins tumbled from second place to seventh, and University of Pennsylvania (Perelman) dropped from the third spot to the ninth.Primary care medical school rankings had shake-ups as well. University of Washington went from a two-way tie for second place to take the top spot from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, which fell to number three. Harvard University rose two spots from number ten to number eight, making way for the University of Massachusetts to join the top ten in the final spot.
