Typical day in Pediatrics

What's a typical day like in general pediatrics? How many patients are usually seen (i know this varies depending on location- but I know of a physician who sees patients on the order of 50-60 per day! Is this normal)?

I have been told that a general pediatrician has a goal to see 4 patients an hour. I am not sure if this is accurate. I tihnk the data on the link indicated an average of 20-25 patients/day. Don't remember exactly. Hope it helps.
