Hello all,

I am in quite a predicament between schools right now because I have to choose last minute between these two schools. A decision has to be made by June 8th. Cumulative GPA: 5.6, Science GPA: Around 3.3(?, maybe lower), MCAT: First try 499, Second try 498, with pretty minimal studying.

Pros:

Tufts MBS/MPH:
-Boston area
-Good school
-Good statisitics for getting students into schools
-Two Degrees in 2 years (I am very interested in pursuing a public health degree from my experience in working in HIV prevention)
-Possibility of getting a scholarship, but are limited.
-MCAT Course available (not much details that I have found about this prep)

Drexel MBS:
-Philadelphia area
-Guaranteed interviews if you meet their GPA/MCAT Criteria.
-Year-long MCAT Course and mix of undergrad and grad courses focused on improving MCAT score during first year
-A lot cheaper than Tufts
-Smaller class sizes
-Spoke to admissions counselor on the phone and he seemed really nice

Cons:

Tufts MBS/MPH:
-Much more expensive, about double the amount of Drexel
-No linkage to interviews

Drexel MBS:
-Not as well known as Tufts
-Not a dual degree
- I don’t like the idea of taking advanced undergrad classes since I already took classes like that.
- Classes taught by video in second year mostly.

Please feel free to comment, ask, or help me in anyway. Thank you!!
