TUCOM rotations

Hello Folks,
Can any TUCOM students comment on the clinical rotations at TUCOM? Particularly, how are they arranged? Are you happy with them? Do you get to choose where you do them? I would appreciate any info.

Well, they have a rotation lottery during the second year to assign location and speciality. Lots of spots available if you want to go to vegas, penn, ny. spots are avail in chino and long beach for so cal students. sf bay area is quite limited if you want to stay around here, doesnt make much sense does it? rumor mill has it 16 students matched in lottery to a newly set up hospital in san francisco, then after the lottery the hospital contract to take students "disappeared" and now those students have to scramble to get third year spots elsewhere. nice of the school, isnt it? spots available in stockton at san joaquin general, but its over an hour east of oakland.

granted, this applys to third years, as a fourth year you can go where you want for the most part, set many of them up myself.
