Sigh, you're right. But it's good motivation to know what is possible before hand so I can get excited about it and plan!

EDIT: FOUND ANSWER!

After some research I found this is possible. If anyone is interested, search "faculty position transplant surgeon" or whatever field of interest, "facult position ______ surgeon" the possibilities are teaching, research, and practice, everything I am interested in!! Super excited!
