In a previous thread, I went over my past experiences, but I'll give a quick summary. Because of immaturity, lack of direction, and undiagnosised Type 2 diabetes, I screwed up my transcript at U of Maryland, College Park and took a semester off.
I'm considering changing schools to start fresh. I'd want to stay in this area (Maryland, Delaware, Southern PA, Northern Virginia), and was wondering if you all had any advice about another school to look at.
This following semester I've decided to go to a CC and prove some good grades, before either going back to Maryland, or a different school.
I'm curious how my bad GPA would effect transferring school, how the process works of transferring. Do you think it would be better to get an AA degree and transfer, or just a good semester or 2 at a CC, then transfer.
Any ideas would be appreciated!
