Hi y'all,

I plan on giving a presentation to a large local family medicine group and I'm reaching out to see what YOU would like to learn from someone who is in pain management. This may be one presentation or a short series. Ideally, this would be useful and practical. So, think more 'what is the best muscle relaxant' and less of the esoteric 'different opioid subtypes receptors.' I hope that made sense. Below are some ideas. I'm open to hearing from YOU.

  1. Which muscle relaxant to use
  2. How to wean off opioids
  3. When to refer to pain medicine
  4. What new things could be done for your patients
  5. The best NSAIDS
  6. What tests to order before a referral
  7. Keywords to tell patients
  8. How to reduce your medico legal risk when prescribing opioids

What topic/question would you like to see in the presentation?

This probably falls under #8, but discussion of opioid/pain contracts.
