Recently, I've been asking myself, "Why does balance/ the vesibular system get so neglected in our name?" Shouldn't we be called "audiovestibulologists" or "vestibulaudiologists" or something of that nature? Thoughts?
I have a hard enough time getting people to understand 'audiologist'. I can't imagine having to explain 'audiovestibulologist' if by chance I can spit it out.
