This is incredible. Anesthesiologists should be making a fortune at these facilities.

Payer mix by net patient service revenues for the nine months ended Sept. 30:

Commercial: 70.5%

Medicare: 16.6%

Medicaid: 7.9%

Indemnity/other: 4.2%

Uninsured: 0.8%

Payer mix by admissions for the nine months ended Sept. 30:

Commercial: 67.3%

Medicare: 19.9%

Medicaid: 5%

Charity/uninsured: 4.4%

Indemnity/other: 3.4% “

Most of those are surgical centers. They are really up for grabs by the local groups and they are prized locations.

For the ones in Dallas, all that revenue is rolled into whatever anesthesia group that covers them.
