I know that we have to report to the test center at 8, but when do we actually start the test after all the J.Edgar Hoover fingerprinting and paperwork nonsense?

EVERYBODY, GOOD LUCK ON THE MCATS! ROCK THOSE MOTHERF#!%ERS! HELL YEAH!

I think they are not allowed to started before 8:30am. So 8:30am would be the earliest they start.

I think it will all depend on how many people are there. I've heard horror stories of not starting till well after 9 as they just couldn't check in everybody fast enough. When I took it we started before 8:30 a.m. as there were only four of us scheduled and we were all there and checked in by 8:15.

BUT THERE ARE 30-40 PEOPLE TAKING IT AT MY SCHOOL! Should take forever.

I think I started after 9 There were over 100 people (I took it at Tufts), but we were separated into a few classrooms.

When you get there, LOCATE THE BATHROOMS! If there are a lot of people at your test center, I suggest you run to the bathroom as soon as your break starts. I remember at one of my Kaplan practice tests, girls were using the boys bathroom because the line was so long! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

Of course if you don't chug coffee during the breaks like I did, the bathroom issue might not be such a biggie :p

Where are you taking it? I'm taking it at RPI - I've heard there are only going to be a few of us. Good luck on Saturday!

I'm taking mine at Union College, which is great coz there is plenty of desk room and comfortable chairs at the Olin Auditorium. Plus I have taken my Organic and Biochem finals in the same auditorium.
I cant believe you go to Sage! I always go there to party, should it be at Elda's or Allsports. Did you go to SAE last Saturday; I probably should not have drunk considering I have MCATs. Oh well. Good luck.

RPI is such a better site! Union a couple of years ago had a band playing outside the students were so pissed! And the year before that they hadn't set something up so they didn't start the test until after 10 (I taught for TPR so I use to hear all the horror stories) But honestly go in take the test, the chances it where you take it will affect your scores is so minimal! So many people from Albany though!

In previous years it may have sucked, but now they wisened up and moved it the Olin Science building (built in 1998). On weekends, no one goes in there except a couple people printing out things. It should be OK.

100-120 people....one room....room probably isn't even big enough for all of us

I took it at UF (obviously, right?!?) and think there were several hundred people in the auditorium. Maybe 400 people. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife! I'm not good at guessing numbers, but I'd say that's about right. Don't laugh at me if I'm waaaaay off, fellow UF peeps. I never won gumballs in a jar contests when I was younger.

Good luck, everyone!

Ah, memories of a year ago... :)

There were only four of us taking the April test. There were 10 there for August. Anyway, all that stuff at the beginning went really quickly. We were out of there by about 4:30, I think... :) And it was pretty low stress. A great place to take the MCAT, in my opinion...

One of the few advantages of going to Brandon University...
