Does anyone know about how one might become a teacher after veterinary school? I enjoy teaching and leading people to success and was just wondering what kind of path one needs to take to become a teacher (obviously at the university level)?

Thanks.

To teach at a veterinary school you will usually need some soft of post-graduate training. This usually means a residency and board certification for teaching clinical courses (for example, surgery, medicine, pathology) or a PhD or MS for teaching basic science courses (for example, anatomy, physiology, histology).

There are exceptions but that's the typical pathway.
