Surgical CC vs IM CC

Kinda curious as to what the difference is between surgical and medical CC.

Offhand, I'd think that med would see more pathology in different areas, and surgical would be more recovery/observation.

Anyone with insight on this?

Yes.

Also trauma patients go to Surgical or Trauma ICUs after their big operations.

Surgical ICU patients are more fun in my opinion... more tubes going in all kinds of places!
