I'm sitting in on some surgery tomorrow. Has anyone had this experience yet? I hope I can see well. Should I bring popcorn?

Now it's done. I thought I'd be in an observation room. But instead, I was right there. And yes, DON'T TOUCH THE BLUE! My attire was not important since I changed into scrubs complete with cap, mask and booties. It was great! First a bunion, then hammer toe then lateral reduction of a bump. All on the same foot. Bloodless and just great! It was a pretty relaxed atmosphere, mostly due to the doctor. I'm hooked!

are you scrubbing in? just watching?

don't touch anything blue in the room.

krab, the ONLY time you scrub in is when you take a bath.:p

You'll enjoy it. Don't lock you knees and dress nicely as if you are going into clinic.
