Hey guys, need some advice.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to do surgery or ortho, but I knew my grades wouldn't even get me considered for an Ortho spot. So I took a surg prelim to help my chances. I am at a program that has an Ortho residency (very small though) so I just wanted some advice as to how to approach trying to have a shot at a spot for next year.
Besides the "work your butt off" and "do well", any specific advice? I have papers published in Oncology/Molec Biology, but no Ortho research experience. Thanks for the advice in advance!!
