Subspecialty + 1 year CCM options

Found two threads on this topic, but would appreciate more info.
Would like to do ID + CCM. See lots of people talking about it. Couldn't find much about the logistics of it (e.g. couldn't find any non-anesthesia programs offering 1 year CCM fellowships).
Is this something that I can plan on doing or is this something that is only talked about?

Yes this is very much possible and not only with ID but with any other IM subspecialty. You can apply for a one year CCM fellowship based in dept of medicine after doing 2 yr ID fellowship.

You may want to contact the CCM fellowship director at Montefiore, as he did ID/CCM and is actively running a CCM program without pulm....I am sure he knows of other similar situations.
