I was practicing with the CCS software- case 2, woman w/ rheumatoid arthritis- (please don't flame me that there aren't crystals in R.A.- not my point.) It just made me realize I don't know how to get information about the aspirate.

you can do 'arthrocentesis' (i did 'aspirate joint') but it warns you that you have to place a different order to examine the fluid- and I can't figure out how to look at/for crystals, bi-refringence, etc.

I tried 'micro-' nothing popped up in the menu, nor when I desperately typed 'birefringence', I googled it-

Anyone know how to look for crystals in CCS?

Thanks, -0
