How do you register for step 3 for florida licensure??? Is it even required???

The fsmb site says this:

"NOTE: The Florida Board of Medicine no longer sponsors individuals to sit for the USMLE Step 3."

That's odd. Then I suggest you call the board in Florida directly and ask them how you can apply for Florida licensure.

i heard rumors that the step 3 was no longer needed for Florida licensure.

I live out of state, but planning on practicing in florida... so when I registered for step 3, I listed florida. Now, I am hearing there may be a problem. I have NOT heard anything back on my step 3 app. Anybody out there with recent experience? appreciate your help.
