What are the best must-have resources for 3rd/4th year students for small animal internal medicine rotations, for students hoping to go into internal medicine? Particularly resources for helping to formulate and prioritize differential diagnoses.

There’s a book called small animal medical differential diagnosis that’s pretty much a list of differentials…downside is it lists pretty much everything and doesn’t give reasons, its literally just a list.

Eclinpath is good since most IM cases have bloodwork.

Honestly a lot of that is a skill you just have to learn and figure out yourself. Notes from topic rounds, googling as you walk down the hallway, class notes, etc. are all useful in various ways.
