For those of you interested in sleep as a potential fellowship option here is the first ever compiled list of sleep fellowships with basic information about each program. If you know of any other opportunities please them on this thread.

  • How and when to apply? Sleep Surgery Fellowship does not participate in the match. Applications/CVs are accepted throughout the year; we have a rolling acceptance and are currently looking to fill the 2017-2018 position.
Texas Facial Plastic Surgery and ENT

  • Length of training: 1 year

  • Do you offer the opportunity to obtain training that will make an applicant eligible to sit for the sleep boards? No
  • What clinical sites do your fellows rotate through? San Antonio Military Medical Center, Forest Park Medical Center San Antonio, Christus Santa Rosa Medical Center, Academy Diagnostics Sleep Lab, Audie Murphy Veteran's Administration.
  • List all clinical faculty: Dr. Jose Barrera, Dr. Avie Grunspan, Sleep Medicine, Academy Diagnostics, LLC, Jeffrey Rouse, DDS, Sleep Prosthodontics.
  • How and when to apply? This informal fellowship does not meet the criteria for match in sleep medicine. It is a sleep surgery fellowship with exposure to the comprehensive care of sleep patients. Applications/CVs are accepted throughout the year, please contact us for additional information.
University of Washington
