Dear medical students, residents, fellows, and attendings,

We are extremely excited to announce the release of the Medical Student Council's Interventional Radiology Lecture Series. These lectures have been over a year in the making and provide a comprehensive overview of interventional radiology (IR) topics. Lectures range from an overview of the field, to disease based topics such as interventional oncology, peripheral arterial disease, vascular disease, trauma and more. Our hope is that the IR lecture series will be utilized by students and medical schools across the country, to provide medical students with an overview of the field and a look into the vast diversity of interventions performed by interventional radiologists. We encourage you to incorporate this resource into their medical school's interest group and curriculum.

We hope you find this resource to be both a useful and exciting way to educate medical students about the central role that IR plays in the medical field. We want to thank the many people including medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty who made these lectures possible. Please visit the following link to download your free copy of the lectures:http://rfs.sirweb.org/wordpressnstall/medical-student-section/ir-lecture-series/.

Please send us any feedback about how you are utilizing the lecture series in your school/practice and feel free to send us any suggestions about ways that we can improve.

Sincerely,

The SIR Medical Student Council
