Which is the stronger program, in terms of reputation? I had a better feel about NYMC on interview day, but being in NYC would be nice. Kind of worried about all the different Sinai mergers as well

Personally would put SLR over NYMC. The Sinai merger is concerning, though, especially given what they did to the Beth Israel residency.

NYMC is a much much more stable program. The Dean of the med school is a radiologist and continously churns out really solid radiologists and is very networked among all of nyc. There are big red flags with SLR and its new expansion. 11 residents in each class sounds like an absolute clusterf*** considering how much smaller the program was before the merger. After talking to some of the residents, there is definitely a lot of confusion and changes being made to their curriculum and rotations and the overall experience can definitely be diluted...
