I received a $8,300 science scholarship, so I would really like to thank these two professors that were my proponents on the committee to select recipients, in person. The problem is that it is summer and they are probably out of their offices until the fall. I dont want them to think that I forgot about them, so what should I do. Should I email them a thank you, and then thank them in person in the fall, just email them, or wait to thank them in the fall.

EDIT: sorry about the title spelling

Email or send a letter to their office.

I already wrote letters, placed them envelopes, and put them in the mailbox on each of their office doors. I hope they check into their offices soon.:)
