I have absolutely no dental shadowing experience and I noticed that a question regarding it appears on the AADSAS. Is it worth begining to shadow now and applying late or apply now and hope I don't get prescreened? Other stats: No DAT, 3.55 GPA. 30 MCAT, a lot of work experience and some community volunteering.

You can most definetly apply without dental expierence and without DAT scores. I would however get into a dental office as soon as possible so you can tell your interviewers about your shadowing expierence, because they will ask. You also need to take the DAT and send in your AADSAS as soon as possible to have the best chances of gaining acceptance. This thread might also help you out...

Good luck in the application process. :D
