is there such a practice as sexual dysfunction/sexual health?

any thoughts or insight on this issue?

One can subspecialize in andrology via the urology route...

I think that the majority of dysfunction is based on a problem found above the neck. As surgery is not needed for 99% of people with dysfunction, a gyn or urologist isn't really needed. Even a lot of MDs say that viagra et al work via the placebo effect.

Why do you want to specialize in sexual dysfunction?
 
Psychiatry? The vast majority of sexual dysfunction is supratentorial.
