Sent thank you letters to profs yet?

I was planning to wait until spring to send thank you letters. Now I'm beginning to feel a little selfish for waiting too long. Have you sent them or are you waiting?

I was hoping to give the recommenders a little more info than a simple thank you. I can now describe the places that I've been able to visit as a result of their letters. I can also tell them where I've been accepted. But I suppose I should send them now. It's been four months.
