Hello everyone,
I am currently almost finished with my PTCAS but I have not taken the GREs. I am planning on taking them sometime in September. Should I send in my PTCAS first or not? One of the top schools (Thomas Jefferson University) I really want to get in does not require GREs but should I wait for the other schools? And I was wondering if I can get in with my stats and can my GPA and experience make up for a low GRE score?
The schools I am going to apply are:
Duke University
Hunter College
San Diego State University
Temple University
Thomas Jefferson University
University of Delaware
University of Florida
University of Illinois at Chicago
University of Miami
University of Pittsburgh
University of Souther California
Widener University
My cumulative GPA is 3.68 and science/pre-req are in the 3.6 zone. I'm currently a research assistant, vice-president of Order of Omega Honors society for greeks, am in various orgs on campus such as VSA, pre-PT, and my fraternity, and active in the community.
Hours:
Inpatient: 100 hours
Outpatient private clinic: 250+ (as a PT aide and still working)
Children's hospital: will complete 100 hours as a PT aide this semester too
Thanks!
