Question ID: 12247
Says that in alcoholic cerebellar degeneration, the arms are not involved and there is no dysmetria. Just gait/truncal probs.

Question ID: 4618
Says that there ARE arm problems in alc. cerebellar degen. including dysmetria and dysdia...

Can anyone explain?

I don’t know how to fix this contradiction. As far as I’m aware, there are differential effects with acute and chronic ethanol toxication on the component seems of the cerebellum (vermis vs. neocerebellar/cortex regions).

Look up the details about that and if you can make sense of report back.
