So, I'm not sure if this is a stupid question, or if it's been discussed here before (I couldn't find it). When you get secondary apps from residency programs to which you applied, is that a good sign? Is it automatic or screened? I know it's not quite like med school apps, where they all get to charge you a bunch of extra money for completing the secondary! So, does it mean I've passed a minimal criteria, or do most programs do it automatically because they hate to trudge through ERAS? Thanks!
