SDS Disadvantaged Status Scholarships

Has anyone had any experience or known anyone that has received one of the rare disadvantaged health professions student scholarships. My efc and parental income is/will be rather low, and my I have another sibling in college that my parents support. I was curious how this might affect my efc. Before i get my hopes up, I was hoping to find someone that has received an award in the past and compare situations/figures.. Please post if you don't mind,

I looked into this last year and discovered that my school doesn't participate. Something about too much trouble filing all that stuff with the government and the difference being made up in school grants. If you can, you probably want to check with individual financial aid offices because I would guess that if they participate, different schools might have different responses.
