What is the Scratch Sheet?

The Scratch Sheet is an innovative twist to a whiteboard. It is thin and portable, and uses much less material than a whiteboard. Its special coating erases dry erase marker extremely cleanly and will keep erasing cleanly. Any type of dry erase marker will work with the coating.

The Scratch Sheet is thin enough to easily pack in a folder, but sturdy enough to last a long time. There are many different sizes, and there is a line of subject specific Scratch Sheets that make it easier to reference equations, constants, and other information directly on the page you are working on. The Scratch Sheet is the ultimate whiteboard replacement!

Why was it created?

The main motivation behind the Scratch Sheet was to create a product that would serve as a great study tool as well as have a positive environmental impact. We came to this realization because as students, our wastebaskets or recycle bins were filled to the brim with paper, week after week, year after year. If were already appalled by our own paper usage, what would happen if we combined the paper consumption of every student in the nation? The world?

Who created the Scratch Sheet products?

The Scratch Sheet is a product line of ScienceAide, Inc. ScienceAide was started by 3 college grads who want to create innovative products that are focused on serving students needs.

What can I do to help reduce paper consumption?

Encourage your peers and colleagues to reuse all of the paper they have available. Recycling is extremely important, but most importantly we need to reduce our paper consumption. Take a picture of you using your Scratch Sheet, in any way that you use it. I had to use a similar thing during board testing and is absolutely sucked because it didn't wipe clean. It this more than just a laminated piece of paper?

The Scratch Sheet are NOT laminated at all and has a special coating on it that allows dry erase markers to wipe off very cleanly. It's essentially a white board but thinner and less costly!
