MD scheduling for STEP1

I would like to take my exam in June but I haven't decided on the exact date. Would it be too late to find a seat at prometric if I wait until next month? Do people reschedule as they get closer to test date? I have to take it in June and it cannot be any other month.
I live in a small city.
