Hi dear all,

I am attending UCSF this year and my husband and I are looking for a place to rent in SF in order for me to be closer to school.

However, my husband works in southeast bay, therefore we want to find a location where it is not too far from the school, has public transportation to UCSF( Line No.6 ,43 ,N-judah), and good access to the free way ( highway 1, 80, 101, 280)

we were looking at a few neighborhoods, but couldn't find a location which has both benefits.

Could any SF resident give me some good advice?

-- the school on-campus housing is nice, but my perception is that it is very far from the freeway. Is that correct?

-- the neighborhoods we have looked at are: Noe Valley or a bit south of Noe Valley,
slightly north of Market street, Sunset areas

we also prefer to avoid shady areas, if possible

thanks, any input would be very much appreciated
