Just wanted to contribute: I am currently a Fellow in Georgia: interviewed at a very rural hospital: decent size ~480 bed hospital for Pall Care: Offered $185,000 + bonus potential if RVUs met prior to negotiation and bonus
In suburban GA: 30 min from downtown Atlanta
Large Hospital system: 2 big hospital and 3 small <100bed hospital, initial offer of $165,000 (salary) and not production based.
Hope this helps for those interested. I am not sure how much a hospice medical director makes since I believe those are harder to come by (full time position) and most of the small hospices are looking for parttime docs to "just sign the paperwork".
