Hello, I am an IM resident in a community hospital. I am thinking of being a hospitalist, contemplating applying for an academic hospital medicine fellowship. Before doing that, I want to explore academic hospital medicine in a big institution. Did anyone have an away rotation on hospital medicine service at Columbia, Cornell, John Hopkins, USCF or any other places? Nobody from ppl I know did that, all away rotations seem to be in subspecialties.
