Retaking a pre-req course a third time?

Does anyone know if retaking a pre-req course a third time looked down upon? I'm not making any excuses but I know that I can get an A in this class. The first time I failed the class and the second time I passed with a C. Has this happened to anyone and was this subject ever brought up in interviews?

First of all you should ask this question directly to the admissions office of the schools to which you are applying. But if you know you can get that A then I can not possibly see how it would hurt you. Just make sure you get the A because getting lower than that may indeed hurt you...So work hard..
