With interview season in full swing, I wanted to post a question I had. I've been told that during interviews you have to sell yourself, but at what point does promoting yourself cross the line into bragging/arrogant behavior? If you got a question about challenges you've faced, would it be ok to spend time describing how hard you worked to overcome that challenge? Basically, I'm asking about how to effectively talk about your strengths without overdoing it and rubbing someone the wrong way.
