Hi everyone,
I'm a 2nd year at a large, public DO school. I have a quick question about orthopedic research. I've been doing GS/trauma research with a local hospital and associated GS residency; however, I've decided to pursue ortho.
My school is associated with a large, respected university. I was wondering if it's better to get involved in ortho research at that same hospital within the ortho residency (also build connections) or start research in the orthopedic labs at the university.
FYI: We have about 8 weeks left of classes till dedicated and boards. Then in August, I head to that same hospital for rotations.
I appreciate any and all advice, thank you.
