Research Opportunities The Summer Before Medical School

Does anyone know of research opportunities specific, or available, to students accepted to medical school. I am interested in conducting research the summer before I start medical school, and have not found any programs that allow this.

I'm assuming you'll have a BA or BS by this time, so try contacting your local medical society to see if they can't hook you up with an opportunity. This is how I found my first research experience.

Yes I am in a special masters program and am looking for a summer clinical research opportunity with a possibility of publication. Main medical center has one that I am interested in and also clinical research at NIH . How else other than google search can I find these programs.
