Reporting Racism or Not

You must check what constitutes "special accommodations" for your clinical rotations. Unfortunately, racial prejudice is not something I think is covered unless your clinical deans say so. Usually, such accommodations would center on disability or personal religious issues.
Your anecdotes about the use of racial slurs by a handful of people at your school bother me. I'm sure it happens at many schools, but you need to report this to your school's dean of diversity or your university's diversity office. Do NOT document this on your accommodation request; this needs to be submitted confidentially through those mechanisms.
