Recent grad going through dental credentialing

As the title implies, I am considering applying for credentialing with some insurance companies. As per my reading, you can do it yourself or have a service do it for you. I am wondering if there is comprehensive guide/course to assist? Has anyone tried ADA's CAQH service for dental credentialing?
