Currently I'm working full time as an Associate Researcher at Mount Sinai. I'll work here for a total of 2 years. Some of my work will eventually published, but probably not before this year.
Non science things about me: I worked at my schools Art Studio for about 380 hours. I helped people with art projects. I also occasionally taught pottery classes. I paint in my free time. I'll be taking a sculpture class in Fall 2018.
In 2016, I just applied to see if I would get in anywhere. I didn't and I also didn't apply broadly and only to MD. I would really appreciate some help / open to suggestions on applying this year. I'll definitely be apply to DO schools this year since I know I'll have a higher chance. I am Asian and a NY resident.
You already applied to top schools like all NY schools (I'm assuming all four Manhattan schools + Downstate, Einstein), Northwestern, Yale, right? I'd reserve that time and effort for others.Okay thanks! Do you guys think it's worth throwing in some of the top med schools? Or would that just be a waste of time/money.
