I filled it in...not for any reason that I had no objection to doing so, felt that it wouldn't matter one way or another (then again, I am not an ethnic minority..except being a gender minority in surgery) and figure it would raise more questions if I left it blank.normalforce said:

I've made it this far (MSIV) without filling it in so what the heck. It is not the PD's business what "race" I am anyway. If they're so interested in my phenotype, they can look at the picture that comes along with the application.

my fiancee is leaving hers blank.
her thinking is the SAME as pikachu, in that they will know anyways. And to those who may be wondering, she's indian-american.
I think I will leave mine OUT as well (for the same reasons as Pikachu had pointed out), but am still not 100% sure.
however, after everything is all said and done, I doubt it makes ANY difference
