I was doing the free 120 (#24, block 2) and there was a question I was confused about.
The question was about doing a thyroidectomy --> accidentally knocked out a parathyroid gland --> a branch of what vessel got damaged?
I was torn between thyrocervical trunk - inferior thyroid artery and external carotid artery - superior thyroid artery, and the answer was the first one. I don't see why it couldn't be the superior thyroid artery?
