I have read before on this forum that oral surgeons and comprehensive dentists (AEGD) are specialists who frequently deploy on ships, etc. My question is regarding periodontists and endodontists, and whether they are put onto carriers in the Navy or are generally deployed to clinics?
Secondly, I was thinking about this last night, and it occurred to me that TRICARE might not fork out cash for implants and such, and began to wonder whether in the years following perio residency in the military one might fall out of practice on implant seatings or other such procedures?
