So during my first year of med school, i worked on a research project with a resident and attending and had an abstract that was subsequently accepted for publication and presented at a convention. However I was not present at the convention and only the resident presented the abstract. On my CV, should i still put "Presented at : So and so" even though i was not the one who actually presented it. My resident said I should still put it on my CV.

if your name was on the abstract yes you should put in on your CV like that. it does not matter if you did not actually present it in person, this happens all the time.
